Nicky Whelan

Nicky Whelan, born 10 May 1980 in the Australian state of Victoria, is a model and actress. She gained fame in Australia due to her portrayal of Pepper Steiger, which she was in over 100 episodes on the soap opera Australian Neighbors between 2006 between 2006 and 2007. Her Hollywood debut in two different projects. One was Hollywood & Wine a comedy choral project in which she was a young, aspiring actor. After landing the role of Maya in Scrubs, she played a very gorgeous medical student. The show is then abruptly stopped. Then, she went on to film an episode of the Farrelly brothers ' comedy known as Good To Shoot. The show was starred by Jason Sudeikis and Owen Wilson. Thereafter the actress was seen in short-form films as well as B-series films. The year 2013 allowed her to land more exposed projects: she appeared for six seasons of the show detective Franklin and Bash then landed her first part in the web-based series Chosen carried by Milo Ventimiglia. She is also Chad Michael Murray's replacement in the two first seasons. Then she played a supporting role in two feature films which focused on planes. The first was a television film for SyFy's Flight 7500 that featured actors from television programs. Another film is Le Chaos with Nicolas Cage. She has the role of an Air Attendant. In addition, she along with Gabriel Luna share the poster for Matador a brand new television show. The 13 episode season is all there is of the thriller by Robert Rodriguez in which actors are CIA agents. In the meantime, she is working in a pilot project which does not work out. She shared the poster for the romance B-Series Borrowed Moments in 2015 with Brian Krause, then appeared as Kad Cuoco and Kevin Hart's co-stars for the show Witness for Rent. Also, she is an integral part of the huge distribution of the experimental Knight of Cups by Terrence Malick. In addition, she appears in five episodes from the Satisfaction series.
